$Tesla(TSLA.US$'s Elon Musk said he aims to complete his purchase of $Twitter (Delisted)(TWTR.US$ by the end of the month, but no one trust his words anymore. So the court trial is postponed to 28 Oct instead of 17 Oct, to allow Musk to fulfil his promise while keeping the door open for the legal battle to continue should this be another trick up his sleeves.
Twitter is concerns that Musk will fail to obtain debt financing to pay for the deal, and said that one of the financer of the deal had testified that it had not received any notice from Mr Musk about plans to move forward.
Twitter shares had been going down as investors starts to doubt whether the deal will go through or is this another mischief by Musk to try and delay the court battle.
For those trading options on this case do be aware of the changes in the start date of the court trial.
