MonkeyGee : you know this is not real inflation right? a majority of the increase is due to companies using inflation as an excuse to charge high prices. How do I know? Just watch corporate profits ( sales - cogs = profit), it's not dropping it's increasing. The only was to put corporate greed in check is stop buying stuff that you don't need to survive. if you keep buy it sends the signal that you are fine with the price increase. I cut back on all my spending to only neccessary stuff. past this message around so people understand. This is basic economics, of demand and supply.
