Very interesting chart! $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ Cost and Expenses are very high. Those fulfilment, etc is part of the product and services that cannot be eliminated and retail is very low margin. AWS margin is low compared to $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ cloud. Those kind of business model mix will be forever swing between profit and loss most of the time due to very thin margin. I honestly don’t understand why people are buying AMZN.
$Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$ on the other hand could and should just easily squeeze those expenses to generate better profit and cash flow when they want or need to. Their expenses and cost of revenue are very big for mostly software and services company, especially compared with $Apple (AAPL.US)$ that has more hardware related revenue
