Tencent invested in more than 120 companies in the first half of 2022, becoming the fourth best performing company in the world

$Sequoia Capital Holdings(BK2559.US)$ , an American investment company, topped the list with 328 investments in the world's "unicorns" (companies worth more than US $1 billion). Japan's $SoftBank Group (ADR)(SFTBY.US)$ and New York based $Tiger Global Holdings(BK2121.US)$ followed, with 217 and 196 investments respectively.

Tencent is the only game related company on the list, ranking fourth with 122 investments. Rupert Hoogewerf said that so far, the Chinese technology giant has provided support to more than 1300 companies worldwide.
