Buy the rip vs sell the dip

Ever since I have learned what is happening in a rip candle, speaking in time incriments of say 1-4 hrs, I typically avoid buying. I actually tend to look at puts when I see these.

I have made those mistakes and both are equally bad to accts because one inevitably leads to the other if sound planning isn't involved.

If you buy a stock while it's ripping, especially at the top, there is an almost certain selling the dip in your future, or a long hold.

Reverse that habbit and you will make money even in these times of heavy volitility.
