On 14 April 2022, Musk offers $54.20 a share, which is a 38% premium to Twitter's 1 April closing price.

Musk even use Twitter to tweet that he is going to buy Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in, which become the most popular tweet to date as of 2022.

Microsoft x Activision Blizzard
On 18 January 2022, Microsoft announced its intention to acquire Candy Crush maker, Activision Blizzard,  for $95.00 per share.

However, the acquisition was met with multiple challenges such as anti-trust, unionization and other issues.

JetBlue x Spirit Airlines
On 5 April 2022, JetBlue makes an unsolicited $33 per share, all-cash bid totaling $3.6 billion, to acquire Spirit Airlines, which was followed by rejection.
