Keithmerel21 : This was not supposed to be a split. It’s a special stock dividend. The drop on AMC is real. Anyone that thinks differently is insane. It was a 1 for 1 dividend. Not a 1 for 1 split. It was technically one at $18.01 (closing price on Friday) for one APE that was supposed to go off at $9.01. A preferred stock offering does not split the original stock price. This is 100% a dilution play by AA. Shareholders voted no on dilution and this was AMC’s way of diluting without voting.
