$AMC Entertainment(AMC.US$ Adam seems desperate to raise funds even with this earnings report, which was mediocre by the way. Company still losing money and theaters making money to pay off that debt is unlikely even with Covid restrictions lifted. They need other sources of income and they rely too much on production companies (at their mercy hoping for blockbuster hits which will sellout seats everyday). Dangerous business model. That explains why he bought a goldmine… maybe that’ll make some money.

CelesKimOP Dirtman: Yes I did. It’s a movie played on a big screen and you pay a hefty price to eat food and drinks with crazy mark ups. I just buy them at the local grocery store; not paying $4 for a bottle of water and $5.50 for a small box of candy.

Dirtman CelesKimOP: So i am guessing you don't order drinks in a restaurant or do not go to pubs or clubs? You can also buy them cheaper at grocery stores. So just because it's a cinema, they can't mark up like resturants and pubs or clubs? Have you been to a F1 race? Do you know how much a damn Coke cost at a F1 race? Who wants to do cost to cost business?

CelesKimOP Dirtman: I sneak in snacks to theaters, not restaurants. So do the people sitting next to me in the theater. Many people do and that cuts into business income for theaters. Employees here at the local AMC theater don’t even care.
