$Netflix(NFLX.US)$ is consolidating, and moving sideways. The MA30 is still far from the the current price, and the slope is moving downwards. I won't buy it at this moment. Shall continue to let it settle down and close the gap between MA30 with the price.

  • Milk The Cow :

  • Milk The Cow : I think the stock market rebounced may not last as it may be dragged down by advertising companies stock undefined. Who knows undefined, will need see those advertising companies result first undefined.  But we know that $Snap Inc (SNAP.US)$ has done quite badly undefined.

Market will be quite volatile & so it quite hard to decide the direction undefined.

We find an undervalued stock with it's instrinc value (IV) undefined. There may be new adjustment to it due to uncertainty in a bad economy undefined.

  • HopeAlways : The price-to-book valuation is one valuation tool for spotting undervalued stocks. Finding stocks trading below book value per share can sometimes turn up companies that are undervalued and worth further analysis. In accounting jargon, book value is a company's total assets minus liabilities and is sometimes referred to as shareholders' equity. The catch is that these companies may not have typically have a great record for generating high returns, which is one reason they are trading below the value of their net assets.

  • Syuee : Finding undervalued stocks isn’t just about finding cheap stocks.

The key is to look for quality stocks at prices under their fair values, rather than thrashy stocks at a super low price.

The difference is that good quality stocks will rise in value over the long term.

Many traders / investors like to mimic Warren Buffett’s strategy, which has always been about finding undervalued stocks and those with the potential to grow over the long term.

Remember, one should always gather the right financial information about a stock we are looking to trade and not make decisions based on personal opinions alone.

The undervalued stocks are like the underdogs~ of the stock market.

Stocks become undervalued for different reasons:

    - changes to the market
    - market crashes
    - corrections could cause stock prices to drop
    - the sudden bad news
    - negative press
    - economic, political / social changes
    - cyclical fluctuations
To find undervalued stocks, we can use fundamental and/or technical analysis.

Fundamental analysis is a method of evaluating the value of an asset by studying external events and influences, as well as financial statements and industry trends.

TA is a means of examining and predicting price movements using historical charts and statistics.

Generally, one should use both methods, together, to find undervalued stocks, as this will give the most complete picture of the market.

Bear markets are the best markets to find undervalued stocks. Buffett always like bear markets, so do I. undefined

There are plenty other clues that may help us to know that a particular stock is undervalued.

    #TreasureHuntIsOn undefined

  • HopeAlways Syuee: Undervalued stocks have the potential to deliver significant growth when market conditions improve.

  • Syuee HopeAlways: A lower price-to-book ratio could indicate that a stock is undervalued. Especially, when comparing two stocks with similar growth and profitability, P/B can be useful for determining which is the best value at a given time.

  • steady Pom pipi :

  • doctorpot1 : 2 words, seek fear. The more extreme the fear the better.

There are just too many stocks in the stock market to analyse each and everyone of them to find which are undervalued. So one great way to help you narrow the search is to SEEK FEAR. When everyone is selling like crazy, that is when you will find amazing deals.

Just like when covid hits, many investors sell their stocks and start to buy gloves companies, WFH companies. That is when all the REIT became a steal with PB hitting as low as 0.5. Reversal happens and now the REITs are back to its former glory.

Chinese ADS also have tons of extreme fears, everyone is selling and selling. with all companies having a PE ratio that is a fraction of the "frothy" US stocks. There are tons of great undervalued companies in the mix.

With stocks there are some companies that garnered extreme hate among retail investors. The more trash talk they speak of the companies, the more they say they are shorting the companies, the more fear they create; That's where great undervalued companies could be found.

So follow fear and follow hate, for it will help guide you to narrow your search to find the diamond in the rough.
