Does your family support your trading?
I and my husband each have a separate trading account. We each have a fixed equal initial trading amount. However, I strong believe technical analysis and learn it continuously. My husband does not believe it. He holds the shares as long term investment and set a target price. If the price does not reach target will not sell. I will just buy at low price and sell when made profits. I will also cut loss if the price drop lower than previous low. He will always scold me if I sell with loss. Hence, starting from this year I don't tell him about my trade to avoid noise so can make better decisions. We compare our results later. Last year I made a lot profit (much more than 10%). He only got dividend but still loss if compare the price difference. This year I didn't make much profit since I don't sell short. But I also don't loss much since I cut early. I can't help him since he don't listen to me. I need to make decision by myself and continue learning. Hence, I believe trading is a lonely and independent process.
