Could there be a rebound on monday?

China's latest covid cases seem to have peaked with Friday reported 25 cases less than Thursdays. Hopefully by Monday the cases will continue to drop further. And out of this lockdown scare behind.
Furthermore the cases most affected are found in Guanxi and Gansu in the far west of the poorer region. Unless you are concerned about people there as investors likely it has little consequences for your company in China situated in the east.
A report that says China sent tanks to quell bank protest in Henan is found to be fake as well. My take is with the government released the money for people with deposits below $50k which is in much greater number than the other depositor, the likelihood of escalating into a financial crisis is low.
On the other hand, properties market trouble would take time to resolve. Likely gloomy for months.
But as investors are few things to look out for.
1) The retail sector is the only sector booming during the 2nd quarter where China GDP reduced to 0.4% growth. Remember the last 2 lockdowns? Retail especially e-commerce business boom with good revenue growth. This time although lockdowns are limited to few places. There is alot of testing and movement restriction. We can expect some increase among the same companies.
2) BYD good performance, EV being touted as performing well during 2nd quarter due to retail boom, is it an indication that the EV industry is a buy?
3) Monday FOMC, there is almost a certain 75 points increase in interest rate. Likely this has already been priced in by investors. As long as there is no mention of 100 points I believe it is good news.
