Don't let color be the barrier to investment
Green and red, standing for ups and downs, are normal for most of us. But they might be a problem for people with color vision deficiency.
Statistics show that about 8% of men and 0.5% of women worldwide suffer from color blindness. That's not a small number, even just among investors.
Can colors stop us from setting foot in a new world, such as investment? Well, moomoo thinks, NEVER let that happen. ![]()

Team moomoo launched a new set of colors to help mooers who find it hard to distinguish red from green. You can find it via Watchlists > Settings > Up/Down Colors, as the screenshot shows below.
If you don't know what it feels like to be unable to tell red from green, you may follow us to take a glance.
By fine-tuning the brightness of pink and lime, we screen out colors that contrast well with each other and finalize this new pair.
Last but not least, if you happen to have trouble recognizing colors, we sincerely invite you to try the updated colors and share your feedback. Other comments or suggestions are also welcome. We will give 100 points to 3 mooers with fresh ideas! ![]()

SpyderCall : changing the colors of the candlesticks is great for color blindness. but it could also be used for those that are not color blind. like possibly you could let us sit blue and yellow candlesticks to ease our psychology when trading. red candles make me very stressed out. green candles make me feel extreme joy. depending on my positions. but the ups and downs of these candlesticks all day can be very taxing on my psyche. so possibly some other candles besides green and red would be great for those with a light heart
