Singapore shares opened higher on Monday. The $富时新加坡海峡指数(.STI.SG)$ rose 0.72 per cent to 3,121.47 as at 9.01 am.

Advancers / Decliners is 96 to 36, with 30.46 million securities worth S$39.00 million changing hands.

Singapore exports up by 9.0% in June

NON-OIL domestic exports (NODX) expanded for the 19th straight month of growth in June, mainly on the back of non-electronics shipments such as petrochemical products.
Singapore' NODX grew by 9.0 per cent year on year, extending the previous month’s 12.0 per cent gain, trade agency Enterprise Singapore (ESG) reported on Monday (Jul 18).

$Genting Sing(G13.SG)$ : Genting Singapore on Sunday (Jul 17) said it is not aware of nor involved in any ongoing discussions on a potential transaction involving the company. The hospitality company was responding to queries from the Singapore Exchange (SGX) regarding “unusual price movements” in its shares on Friday.
$SingPost(S08.SG)$ : Singapore Post said it will deliver an operating loss for its post and parcel business for the quarter to June, as a result of the significant increase in costs as well as a lower delivery volume from a major e-commerce customer.
$SIA(C6L.SG)$ : Singapore Airlines(SIA) carried 1.9 million passengers at a group level in June on a pandemic-high load factor of 85.5 percent, the airline stated in its operating statistics filed to the bourse on Friday (Jul 15).

$Metro(M01.SG)$ : The ongoing credit situation in China's property sector contributed to the S$36.3 million impairment losses taken in Metro Holdings' financial year ended March 31, 2022, the property group said on Sunday (Jul 17).
