Tesla production exceeds 258,000 units in Q2 as production capacity further recovers

Despite continued supply chain challenges and plant shutdowns, Tesla's second quarter production and sales delivered eye-catching results.
Recently, Tesla released its production and delivery report for the second quarter of 2022, reporting a cumulative total of over 258,000 vehicles produced and over 254,000 vehicles delivered during the period. Of these, June was the highest month in Tesla's history for vehicle production.
By June, the capacity utilization rate of Tesla's Shanghai Super Factory had been restored to 100%, which has also actively driven and helped enterprises in the industry chain to resume work, promoting the whole new energy vehicle industry chain from production to logistics and from sales to delivery to "come back to full blood" as soon as possible.
Based on the recovery of the automotive industry chain and the resumption of production, the export performance of Tesla's Shanghai Super Factory also exceeded market expectations. It is reported that in May, a total of 22,300 Tesla vehicles made in China went to Europe, Australia, Japan and other countries and regions.
