the space in between the two blue lines represents a price range where the stock was not traded as it was going up. generally when a stock cools down, losses volume, or whatnot it will naturally fall back to that gap zone. stocks then will be traded within that price range, filling the gap. depending on trading volume and the stocks rsi, it will then leave that range either up or down.
