I have been reading about the supposed 3:1 stock SPLIT….
It is not necessarily 3:1
3:1 is the increment, from 2million to 6 million POSSIBLE shares stated in the SEC filing… READ IT, dear journalists, BEFORE spreading inaccurate news.
There are about 1 million shares out there SO, with the possibility of outputting 6 million in total they can well make a 5:1 SPLIT (or 4:1 or 3:1) and still have about one million for the company possible necessities.

They are asking to ADD four million, with a total of SIX million.

TeslaSmurfOP : I read it again on the original SEC document: they purpose to ADD 4 mil of new stocks (authorised stocks, not emitted: they have just 1 emitted of two already allowed)… TOTAL allowed 6 MIL, no doubt. Then they can emit 2,3,4 as they like.
EverDust : Split or no split, as long the company is able to continue to grow, everyone who invested in it will be profitable in the long run. The transition in the global sector from Ice to EV is evitable.
