Weekend Chill: Funny Stock Symbols
Lol
@Peikko : "$HACK.US$ , $FOMO ETF(FOMO.US)$ , $FKU.US$ $KO.US$ are some of the symbols that made me laugh for sure. HACK is very fitting to this ETF since it is mostly internet companies, that same companies that also ‘hack’ our information on a daily basis. On the other hand, FOMO represents the holdings that you should not miss out . FKU is just simply funny, hahaha..because if you know, you know. The other one that I find funny is KO, yes the famous Coca Cola. I feel like that Coca Cola will definitely KO-knock you out with the amount of sugar in their products. Haha! But still we drink it and enjoy it. Who cares about the sugar anyways?! "

Funny stock symbol
@niece : "FIZZ.US - Fun, effervescent and memorable
MOO.US - Memorable bovine word play
LUV.US - Nice nod to airlines roots at Dallas’ Love Field.
BOOM.US - Perfect for a metals maker that uses explosives."

Fun ticker symbol
@traderNtrade : "$Tri-Continental Corp.(TY.US)$ - Symbol TY - "Thank You".
$NP.US$ -  Symbol NP - "No Problem"
$OMG.CC$  Symbol OMG - "Oh My God"
$FUN.US$  Symbol FUN - Amusement park operator Cedar Fair is all about having a good time."

@b34r 's comment : "Ford has the coolest symbol."

Cool
@cola1010 : "$HEINEKEN NV(HINKF.US)$
HEINY - Heineken
Heineken N.V. (Heiny makes the list simply because it makes the inner 8-year old child in all of us giggle when saying the word "heiny." The beer industry does have solid tickers. I'm rather surprised no company has tried to obtain "BEER" as its ticker.)
$FAN.US$
There are a wide range of ETFs catering to the investing interests of a wide range of investors who prefer to pool their resources for the purpose of investing through skilled and experienced fund managers. It has chosen the stock ticker symbol FAN, which is not a perfect fit for its concept but nonetheless evocative of its basic premise."

Funny symbol
@anony168 : "BOOM - $DMC Global(BOOM.US)$ - Metalworking business Dynamic Materials believes in going out with a bang.
LUV -  $LUV.US$  - Southwest Airlines is clearly not concerned about the mile-high club.
They make me chuckle."

Hilarious wordplay
@101790486 : "AMC - apes movement cry?
Make me chuckle away my foolishness and learn a good lesson as a beginner. Earning money profit is good, but the high risk is always there."
Krispy Kreme… What were you thinking?
@71388718 "I am not sure what Krispy Kreme was thinking when they decided to use DNUT $Krispy Kreme(DNUT.US)$. This is far from Doughnut and I have seen jokes about this ticker in multiple places after there second debute in the market. (this is their second go round entering the market last year). Maybe they wanted something like a catch phrase to help folks remember bc everyone had their share of laughs about Deez"

According to Mooers' response, each stock symbol is like a nickname for the company, which sees the company through its peaks and valleys. The appearance of the stock symbol represents a critical step for the company. Moreover, some companies use everyday vocabulary as their stock symbols, which indicates a sense of humor.
Once again, thank you all for your participation. Happy investing, and see you next time!
