Quality vs Quantity

I have been an Apple fan way before most ppl would even give their products a second thought. Their systems just make sense. They are use friendly and let me have more control over what I want to happen. I can buy a laptop, use & abuse it for years and it will still run. One of my favourite Apple products was the “Brick”, the old large iPod that had tons of space. I would LOVE if they would rerelease these w/out the wheel dial. (Possibly w/Siri included) This was a great way to carry lots of music, photos or large files w/ you when you may not have access to the internet. (I know I could use an old iPhone for this, but none have the as much space.) I still love my brick, just daunting to wheel dial to everything.
That being said, since the passing of Jobs, Apple has changed. Quality doesn’t always seem as important, the quantity of options seems to be MORE important. With that comes the price. The amount you have to pay to buy their products is quite a lot. Some items are even out of reach of the average person. The only positive is that buying their products used or refurbished a yr or too later you are still getting a quality product.
Overall, despite price I still would rather have an Apple item vs a different brand. I, personally, just will have to settle for used or refurbished unless I am lucky enough to find a great sale or Apple decides to reel in their pricing structure and make it more affordable for the average person. 🍏
