Monkeypox

I think the world has gotten used to Covid-19 after 2 years. Life cannot be on a standstill just because of a virus. If you google list of virus history, you will notice that virus outbreak happened every 2 to 5 years.
Previously, the outbreak on SARS (2003), MERS (2012) , EBOLA (2014), COVID-19 (2019), MONKEYPOX (2022), not counting some other virus outbreak in other countries.
The world has to live with famine, drought, floods, etc as climate change and mother nature of Typhoons and Earthquakes or Tsunamis hit the various parts of the world. Whether Monkeypox is serious to take the world by storm, it is still in the early stage. Of course, pharmaceutical stocks and vaccines will be rising while other industry will be falling. Every industry has its peaks and lows.
Most countries will do a "wait and see" approach, waiting for statistics on how badly or serious it is, studying the virus mutations, etc. No action is taken unless serious deaths took place and confirmed on how contagious it can be. But life goes on in any part of the world and so is the stock market.
The only fear I have is not the monkeypox or whatever virus that will emerge in the next 2 to 3 years but the stock matket crash. I am planning to exit out quickly and have Queue to sell all my stocks except for AIP ( AUTO INVESTMENT PLAN). Market has been too volatile as more investors are getting into it and it is saturated with newbies with a big pocket.
As a conservative investor, I will exit out once all my stocks are sold and concentrate on Fixed Deposits and AIP.
