Tesla buyers are rich

That’s because they sell luxury cars. The $Tesla(TSLA.US)$ base model is more expensive than a base model $BAYER MOTOREN WERK(BMWYY.US)$ .
If the stock has future priced in, when is $Tesla(TSLA.US)$ going to sell a lower priced economy car? I don’t think the Model 3 qualifies since it’s the base model I referred to above. A 250 mile range $Tesla(TSLA.US)$ compact with nice but not luxurious options and a lower margin would sell really well. No ludicrous mode, no gimmicks like self driving or games or whatever. If another manufacturer beats them to that concept (a non luxury EV) with mass production it will be hard to catch-up because I imagine length of ownership is longer for EVs.
