How does inflation affect your life?
Today, the Singapore Department of Statistics released the latest inflation data. Core CPI, which strips out private road transport and accommodation costs, rose 3.3% in April compared with the same period a year earlier, fastest in a decade. CPI rose to 5.4%, the fastest since April 2012.
The inflation is mainly driven by the following categories: The cost of transportation, which has an index weighting of 17.07%, climbed 15.5% yoy in April. Food prices, which have a 21.10% weighting, rose 4.1% yoy, while housing and utility costs, which make up 24.84% of the index, increased 5.0%.

Always Hungryy : people haven't travelled for 2 years so they have lots of money to spend on cars. that's why COE went up so high. petrol is G imposing taxes, so ask them why.
