The increase in electricity prices is due to a confluence of factors, such as the Russia-Ukraine war, Singapore's lack of alternative for electricity and rising demand for electricity as the world recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic.
With electricity costs expected to continue rising for at least a year, Singapore's move towards greener energy sources has become more important than ever.
Although solar panel could be generate electricity instead, given the limitations on tapping solar energy especoally among HDB dwellers, what should we do to do our part for the environment but also go easy on our wallet?
