What’s Happening to Palantir?

Sharing some honest thoughts here.

The company’s YOY growth has dropped to 25%. What happened to general expectations of 30%-50% YOY growth?

At $25, Palantir fanboys will tell you it’s a good buy as it has dropped from $40. They said the same thing when it went below $20, and then $15. Now it’s below $10, and they are still telling you the same story. The issue here is, how much money / bullets have you got to DCA?

You can do a YouTube search, 90% of YouTubers who covered this stock are bullish about it since $30 or $40.

Personally I think this is a good company, but not a good stock at the moment. I have highlighted the company’s challenges since Jan this year. They are unpopular opinions to many PLTR fanboys. Anyway, if you have time, you can watch the video below. Won’t take you too long. Raise your knowledge, not your holding.
Not financial advice, pls do your own research too.

  • Stirling : When a growth stock is no longer growing at exponential or above market growth rate, a key assumption for its valuation (mainly using DCF on forward and future earnings) is way off tangent.  You need to re-establish the basis of valuation.   May need to look at its net asset value per share as a starting base to visit its intrinsic value.

  • Cow Moo-neyOP Stirling: Agree with your point of view, especially on the DCF portion. I wouldn’t use DCF model / valuation on PLTR - their future business and roadmap is uncertain in my opinion
