Can the tourism industry get back on its feet?
$Flight Centre Travel Group Ltd(FLT.AU)$ announced this Thursday that it had formed an innovative joint venture with Goldman Travel and Spencer Group to focus on premium and business travel.

$Qantas Airways Ltd(QAN.AU)$ announced that it would acquire all of Alliance Aviation Services Limited $Alliance Aviation Services Ltd(AQZ.AU)$ , an air charter service operator.

The agreed consideration for the transaction is A$4.75 per share. This is 35% higher than Alliance Aviation's closing price of A$3.51 yesterday, valuing its enterprise at A$919.2 million.

The deal is currently still subject to ACCC and other approvals.

Back in October 2020, Virgin Australia decided to end Tigerair Australia, its low-cost airline operating for nearly 13 years.
