Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday. The $FTSE Singapore Straits Time Index(.STI.SG)$ gained 0.4 per cent to 3,362.21 as at 9:35am.
Advancers / Decliners is 173 to 62, with 400.4 million securities worth S$265.97 million changing hands.
Breaking News
The manager of Lendlease Global Commercial Reit (real estate investment trust) on Thursday (May 5) said that portfolio occupancy for the first quarter ended Mar 31 remained high at 99.9 per cent.
Tenant sales year-to-date for its 313@somerset mall have also recovered close to FY2020 levels, the manager said in a business update.
Stocks to Watch
$ThaiBev(Y92.SG)$: The beer and liquor giant is resuming the proposed spin-off and listing of its brewery unit, Beer Co, on the Singapore Exchange. Its unit will conduct a public offering of up to 20 percent of the total number of issued ordinary shares of BeerCo, ThaiBev said on Thursday.
$CapLand Ascendas REIT(A17U.SG)$: It reported positive rental reversion of 4.6 percent for lease renewals in its first quarter ended Mar 31, with its portfolio occupancy standing at 92.6 percent, down from 93.2 percent in the last quarter.
$Lendlease Reit(JYEU.SG)$: It said that portfolio occupancy for the first quarter ended Mar 31 remained high at 99.9 percent. Tenant sales year-to-date for its 313@somerset mall have also recovered close to FY2020 levels, the manager said in a business update.
$YZJ Fin Hldg(YF8.SG)$: It hopes to have a decision by mid-May on whether Central Provident Fund (CPF) account funds can be used to buy its shares, the board said in an update on Wednesday night (May 4).
