This place will force you to lose just by investing your money
Dadacai humorous Liger_6405: The type of stock you get is dependent on the luck of the draw and the probability is stated in the TnCs. You shouldn’t be in the negative when you sell the free stocks since you are in the US and there is no commission or platform fee for trading in the US market. Dadacai humorous Liger_6405: I’m not sure where you are seeing $100 deposit for 6 free stocks. I also did not give my opinion on whether one should be picky or not. I merely state the facts as they are. There are people who are pretty happy with the free stocks they got (one got Amazon). If you do not like the TnC, you are free to choose not to sign up or deposit funds. I don’t work for moomoo btw so you’re barking up the wrong tree.
Dadacai humorous Liger_6405: Your statement “give you stock that will kill what you put in” is highly misleading since you don’t have to make any trades (spend) to get the free stocks. The money you deposit in moomoo is still yours. You can withdraw it.
Dadacai humorous Liger_6405: Pls provide a screenshot to support your claim. It’s most likely a case of not reading the wording carefully. It is like a store that advertises “up to 50% off” which doesn’t mean everything is 50% off but that the discount for some items is as high as 50%.
Dadacai humorous Liger_6405: Many companies use such lingo. Moomoo has given a lot of freebies which in all honesty, they don’t have to. If you find the promotion not attractive, you can exercise your choice as a consumer but making statements like it is a scam or that you will lose money is misleading and tantamount to defamation. Investment comes with risks and you can choose whether to invest or not.
