Bull Session: What's fueling Trump-tied Truth Social downloads?
Truth Social became the highest download app after Musk reached a deal Monday to buy Twitter for $44 billion. Musk said he aims to make the social-media platform "an inclusive arena for free speech."
Truth Social downloads just rocketed
Truth social has climbed to the top spot for free apps in the US apple AppStore on Tuesday, followed by $Twitter (Delisted)(TWTR.US$sitting in the second place. Both social networks saw their downloads skyrocket, with Truth ranking 52nd on the same list on Monday and Twitter ranking 39th.
Trump claimed no plans of returning
Trump was initially permanently suspended from Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter after the January 6th riots at the US Capitol. At the time, Twitter said that Trump's posts could incite further violence.
Former President Donald Trump claimed that he wouldn't return even if Elon Musk reversed the ban on his 88.7 million followers account.
"I will be on Truth Social within the week. It's on schedule. We have a lot of people signed up. I like Elon Musk. I like him a lot. He's an excellent individual. We did a lot for Twitter when I was in the White House. I was disappointed by the way I was treated by Twitter. I won't be going back on Twitter."
"Twitter's become very boring. They've gotten rid of a lot of good voices on Twitter, a lot of their conservative voices," Trump said in the Americano Media interview.
Competition intensified
Elon Musk's potential further moves over Twitter and the recent popularity of Twitter might put weights on Truth Social, but $Digital World Acquisition Corp(DWAC.US$ stock price says other wise.
The development process of Truth Social wasfull of challenges. The Trump Media & Technology Group social media platform, TRUTH Social, formally launched last month and has been running under its brand-new cloud services, following its beta-tested in February.
According to an October statement, the company claims to battle "the liberal media consortium and fight back against the 'Big Tech' companies of Silicon Valley." The resignations of its chiefs of technology, product development, and legal affairs could also bring negative effects to its development progress. Meanwhile, The former president has only posted on the platform once in the two months.

. surprised me even and i knew it would probably be that way, esp with so many able to see wtf is going on in this country. but i gotta be honest also, they best figure out whatever the hell is causing it to be so glitchy and not even let me use it as i’m on a waitlist that still hasn’t moved in 3-4weeks for me! thats not excuseable, ya im sure the elite have fought it every step of the way but we knew that would be the case so you’d think they’d have been prepared for that. Curious to see where this ends up, if biden and the liberal left keep doing what they’re doing then it might be $500 a share soon lol
