I have found success tracking the over-reactions in the market.  On news, poor earnings, or the occasional "random".  Stocks get punished greatly only to rebound.  Check the greatest lovers at the end of the day.  You will find that if you avoid the extreme and obvious, you can profit right away on the rebound.  Works best over over short-term so be certain to plan when to get out and take profit.
