Musk terminates Twitter deal: hero or zero?

Freedom of speech & Freedom of the press

Musk is saying he wanted Twitter to protect the Freedom of speech. This one of those subjects which is such a slippery slope it’s hard to know where to stand. First question is how much Freedom? Are you thinking all inclusive? No holds barred? Meaning if I want to Tweet that someone is a stupid N word that would be considered appropriate and all right? I could promote the Islamic Terriost Groups? That I could organise an attack on all the Capitals of the world & it would be perfectly ok? What about lying or spreading false or misinformation? Posting public officials are groomers? what about on a local level? At what point is it no longer freedom of speech and is now nothing more than HATE? While having debates and free flowing thoughts is one thing, allowing people to spread their racist, sexist, homophonic tribalism does no good for anybody.
Many other social media platforms have started out thinking this was the best for everyone involved. only to be forced to buckle under the pressure of the whole concept of the greater good.
When it comes down to it, I need more info on Musk’s plan before I can call one way or the other. I will say that if he isn’t wise about his moves everyone will do the great #twittertransfer after all remember a little place called MySpace??
