71491642 : That's what Blockbuster said... Now many don't even know what it was. With all the competition... streaming platforms have to step it up as this area is only growing. Most know this this and r joining forces with others to have a larger presence for example. Some slashed prices. Others expanded content n spend on unique marketing.   Netflix on the other hand. raise prices scare its loyal users with a anti account sharing n identity verification in its (Netflix) future. When in reality they shouldvkeep what loyal  viewers they have happy. not helping them consider jumping ship. Lastly no matter how loyal one may be. If your lacking content that's worthy. Plus loosing proven staples re-runs to all the other streaming platforms. it's not hard to decide trying lower cost options or even free ones like tubi or plex. When a platform you pay over 10 dollars r month has movies that r considered classics or simply okay dated more then decade ago.  It's not to say the movies r bad or to old worthy of top ten list however the lesson here is... Why aren't they newer more trending.. ground breaking or maybe even something that changes the way films r made being so revolutionary.. Actually that's not required... but having more selection better quality movies n on avg having enough good current content keeping old school game changers off the top 10s. Then maybe Netflix has a chance.  Some may laugh but I would like the opportunity to gave mailed DVD rentals back as part of a monthly member. I think it's lot Netflix has to overcome. If they realise how serious this is if any platform can its them having the resources n capital buy I think they got lazy canceled to shows after 1 or 2 seasons. Many original movies r avg at best. Destroying Franchises with cult followings with remakes or continues them crashing to ground.  transformers.  he man come to mind. only if they had understood the audience n the content. they could of has something monumental
