Singapore shares opened higher on Tuesday. The $富時新加坡海峽指數(.STI.SG)$ increased 0.11 per cent to 3,343.27 as at 9.05am.

Advancers / Decliners is 82 to 39, with 78.03 million securities worth S$80.13 million changing hands.

Inflation accelerates to a sizzling 5.4% in March

This is a jump from the 4.3% inflation recorded in February, which hiked from 4.0% the month prior.
"It does appear evident that current supply chain disruptions will be enough to drive both the headline
and core inflation readings higher. Given tightening supply chains and still elevated global
commodity costs, we believe price pressures will remain evident in the coming months," Mapa said.

Stocks to Watch
$CapLand China T(AU8U.SG)$ : CAPITALAND China Trust posted a 30.4 per cent rise in its net property income to 344.5 million yuan (S$72.2 million) for its first quarter ended March 2022, from 264.2 million yuan a year ago.
This was due to full contributions from its business parks portfolio as well as new contributions from its logistics parks portfolio, the manager of the real estate investment trust (Reit) said in a bourse filing on Tuesday (Apr 26).
Gross revenue was up 24 per cent to 489.9 million yuan for the quarter, from 395 million yuan the same period a year ago.
$OUEREIT(TS0U.SG)$ : The manager of OUE Commercial Real Estate Investment Trust (OUE C-Reit) said on Monday (Apr 25) that the Reit has priced its offering of S$100 million 4.2 per cent notes due 2027.
In a bourse filing, the manager said the notes will be issued at an issue price of 100 per cent their principal amount, and will bear interest at the rate of 4.2 per cent per annum.
The net proceeds will be used for refinancing existing borrowings, general corporate funding and/or other general working capital purposes of OUE C-Reit and its subsidiaries.

$YZJ Shipbldg SGD(BS6.SG)$ : Yangzijiang's largest shareholder sees spin-off helping shipbuilder, offshoot get fair valuations.

In an unusual way of listing that does not raise capital through a public offering or private placement, Yangzijiang Financial Holding (YZJFH) - the spun-off investment segment of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding - will debut on the Singapore Exchange mainboard by dividend in specie.
