Why do I always buy high and sell low?

FOMO

The reason most ppl end up buying at the wrong time is because of FOMO - the fear of missing out. They hear the talk on TV or YouTube, they read online/ in chat rooms this stock is hit, that stock is up 300% and run to jump in. Problem is buy the time it hits TV, etc it’s moment has passed and it’s already in the down cycle. So while you buy at a 1$ you have already paid too much. Next thing you know the stock is dropping down & there is no sign of a bounce to be found. It continues to drop and think Oh no! I am going to lose EVERYTHING. So you do the ABSOLUTELY WORST THING and sell. Therefore costing yourself money & the possibility that the stock will regroup and surge even higher.

STOP DOING THAT! This type of investing is EMOTIONAL investing. You must NEVER let your emotions run your portfolio. If you feel overcome by your emotions WALK AWAY, TYRN OFF YOUR PHONE, DONT LOOK!
Remember these rules and your investment health will be better.

1) DONT CHASE A STOCK - there will always be another stock that is hot.

2) You are NOT fishing in a pond, your are fishing in the Ocean.

3) BE patient. Some stocks are jump in, jump out & some are like fine 🍷 Let them sit and breathe

4) You haven’t lost anything until you SELL. Even if the stock is down, you are not out anything until you sell. So plain & simple.. DO NOT SELL!

5) Leave your emotions at the door.. Only clear heads make awesome trades.

6) Dont invest more than you can afford to lose. Investing is educated gambling. There are no sure things. Don’t spend your mortgage payment thinking your going to get that money back instantly.

7) Just be smart
