TeslaSmurf : WHY ? He can just wait the price to fall to 30 $ as the board rejects officially his offer and restart buying with some strong and loyal partner. In that way he could reach 14,9% with less than 1,5 billion . Then He would need 4 “friends” willing to invest 3/4 billions each to buy the majority of Twitter’s shares. THEN he swipes out the actual board and the new one will accept his new offer for 100% of the company. The present board will both loose their jobs AND have to face a mass of shareholders suing them for billions.
