You need MONEY

Yes you need money to build wealth. You must be thinking, no shit sherlock. It's simple yet many don't understand because it's so hard to build that first pot of gold. The first 100k or first million is the first step to propel one to being wealthy. That is so hard to achieve because most people don't have that amount of money. A 10% yield on 1k over 10 years and a 10% yield on 1M makes a HUGE difference. This is why the rich gets richer by investing. So remember you need to have money first to be wealthy.
