Full time trader - pros and cons!
One must be fearless and willing to take measured risk. Must have the willingness to invest in long hours of learning without much success early on! Finding a good coach early is very helpful. To be a good trader ( consistent results) takes discipline, patience and persistence! During the early journey as a trader , one must know the type of trading you would love to do such as day trader, short term options trader( swing trader) or strategic long term trading. Though I started out as buy and hold for the long run, I found it takes great patience, self reliance and mental conviction to keep on holding to a trade it appears one is rafting in rough waters! I prefer to trade index and trade base on market direction both short and longer term. I found practicing meditation daily helps to deal with the Market! Trading is a great profession and wish you success!
