Splits all over the place
With $Amazon(AMZN.US$ split (20:1) and $Alphabet-C(GOOG.US$ (20:1) announced along with $Tesla(TSLA.US$ (tbd), I’m curious what the group thinks.
Invest in Amazon and Tesla now? Or wait till after the split. I’m torn here. Valuation wise it’s same but advantage is once they split and the stock climbs I can climb with them vs. but after the split and get it a higher price. But they can also decline for the first few days.
What does the group think? Ideally Amazon or Tesla is a good buy. So is Google. But can’t get all three.
Right now… Google is 2,873 Amazon is 3,386 Tesla is 1,094

TeslaSmurf : If you analyse the charts of the previous split, you will see that the stock went up about 80% from the announcement to the split. Then it went down about 30% but it reached the 900 all time high in three months. I buy as much as I can, whenever I can, and I will probably sell 1/3 of that (to 2/3 depending on how much it has grown) just after the split, hopefully to buy them again with a 15/30 % discount (if you buy and sell not all at once, it will always result a convenient average).
Tamara : Buy $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ before the split and add more after the split then sleep on it for sometime. The likelihood that $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ will be doubled after split is higher than both $Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$ and $Amazon (AMZN.US)$.
That’s my strategy!!
