Matter of Time

Based on the news of Russia’s cheap equipment and exhausting their resources we know that this can’t go on forever without involving other countries.  Let’s be very clear, Russia’s allies are downright terrifying to think about involvement from them.
Assuming that neither China, Syria, nor Iran decide to get involved and aid Russia with their invasion and that the scope stays contained to the Ukraine and does not get into NATO territory, or other agitating factors come in to play (like declaring a No-Fly Zone over Ukraine), this has to end at some point.
Let’s also not be fooled into thinking that Putin will capitulate without taking something major back to the Kremlin.  His enemies are within those walls (the man never eats nor drinks *anything* around other people) and they are wanting a victory of their own design.
This all in mind, the group intelligence displayed by the market is remarkable.  The uptick in market performance and trend is a good signal overall.
I bought some of the dip in areas that are bound to recover but that fit my strategy with investing in stocks that pay dividends.  I am also looking at other equities to be further depressed based on inflation to drop a bit further, and whose recovery may be further out - thinking travel and transportation equities for that, and am willing to wait and see if it hits 2020 lows in those sectors.

Matter of Time
$JetBlue Airways(JBLU.US)$ has recovered some, went down to about $7 per share in the March of 2020.  Am curious to see how price of fuel affects the longer term trend with tourism and travel companies.
My gains came in all my holdings, but $National Instruments(NATI.US)$ started recovery sooner than my other investments.
I’m of the opinion and school of thought that no matter the market conditions, you can always make money.
Good luck!  And wishing the Ukrainians and protesting Russians safety and reprieve.
