Fat Veg 7890 : Vix is very very very dormant
Rina888 : Do you spot any bearish divergence ?
Fat Veg 7890 : Sir, any take (comments) on this?
iamiamOP Fat Veg 7890: sorry at work, tracking trading off of phone. I dont have my charts yet. will post when I'm back.
iamiamOP Fat Veg 7890: still BEARISH, this is climbing because if the lopsided low delta options, the puts are still 2:1 on QQQ, SPY is slightly better at 1.5:1 too many people want this to go lower, so they will delay it to burn them out.
Imso iamiamOP: then got to bite the dust with my losses for now, guess got to go to sleep in sadness
iamiamOP Imso: it's going to come down some, I was going to warn of a chop coming to shake some puts and calls
iamiamOP : I was driving and thinking of how to explain to everyone in simple terms why the market is bearish but moving up?
the answer s liquidity- the market maker knows the market wants/needs to go down but so do a lot of other people and for any bet to work there must be 2 sides a winner and a loser, lwell if everyone wants the market to go down guess what that does? it creates an imbalance of winners to losers, MM can not let that happen so the majority must lose first. There must be a liquidity balance. hope that helps there is no other reason, the technicals will tell you what it's doing but liquidity is the why
iamiamOP : Do not be deceived, this is not bullish yet, it is toeing the line but not crossed
Fat Veg 7890 iamiamOP: Sir, this tug of war also needs to end one day right, and i mean for Nasdaq to start to dip
. I hope that this week, or perhaps these few days, Nasdaq does not goes up anymore. Its kinda painful for the bears.
Clearly there are no fundamentals to support why it is bullish.
On the conservative side, how do rule out that it is really not bullish? On the surface, retailers (including myself) even think of going long for some stocks. But i know this is the smoke screen for now - the dip is yet to come.
Next question for your guidance is the index seems to go up taking escalator, so when it dips, i recalled you said will be gradual and then fast and furious down also?
