So things still might go south. And should Russia's forces still uable to break through to capture the key cities or take even heavy loses putin might take drastic measures to force Ukraine's hands.

For me, I invest for long-term. Not pretty much as a trader to time the market and keep buying and selling. This modality may gain some short-term capital gains and best adopted for stocks that are very volatile. But if the price doesn't drop, will miss out on the opportunity. I am still holding onto some DBS stocks I bought at $18, and it had generated so much more dividends over the years than a one-time sell off for profit. Now I see the price at $32-33, will be $40 or more in a few years. so buying and accumulating more when it dips.
