No need to panic
I have bought at high too. It all depends on individual risk appetite. An investor will have a few options:
1. Hold the stocks and wait if you have the holding power and the amt is not too big
2. Buy in and average down. this will make the break even price lower (if u have the capital)
3. Sell and cut losses first if u forsee it dropping even further and buy back at a later stage.
Remember there is no such thing as sure gain. Invest within your means and be prepared to lose whatever that is put in. Read more and understand abt the company shares that you are interested to buy.
Cheers and have a great 22. 😉
