Trading Philosophy - Passions, Ethics, & Technical Study

If you do a quick search on the definition of Philosophy, it is defined as, “the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially when considered as an academic discipline.”
What appears to me as the operative of that definition is “fundamental nature.” Well, the fundamental nature of my approach is tied up with my ethics.
Are there equities that are traded that are particularly ethical in their approach to acquiring profits? Arguably no, some are of course. I cannot in good conscience invest in companies that lobby in the US for oppressive measures when it comes to self-expression and just being-ness, yet specifically market to and pander toward the exact same group of people they pay to oppress.
So, what industries do I look to? Green energy, semi-conductors, ethical tech, leisure, and consumer goods. If well-performing companies in those industries offer dividends, it is a no-brainer investment.
I look to equities for the potential of a passive income stream. I look to currencies to trade with leverage. Diversified in strategy based on the market for the asset I am investing in. There is a broad playing field out there, can’t be limited to just one way of thinking.
