creative GerbilOP Matthew D: a run-up of share price before earnings is definitely expected, especially for Palantir which has never miss estimates. This would allow people to fomo and buy first, hence increasing the price beforehand. However, as earnings day come and suck, bulls would see red.
Chocoloco : TBH, you could be right, especially seeing how eccentric Karp can be. I still urge you to short with everything you got and laugh at us later. I didnt sell or short at $35, instead DCA all the way down to $12, i already feel like laughing stock
Mike Hunt : At this point, I can’t take you seriously and have to think you are putting us all on. At least it’s just puts you are holding so your losses are limited. And I doubt that you have access to buying derivatives on margin. If you had an open short position, and you were being stubborn like this, your losses would be unlimited. Something to ask yourself. Has the price action of this stock been different the last 2 days, both a red one and a green one, than it has been the past 2 months? If you answer “NO”, it will definitively demonstrate your inability to independently perceive reality without having a bias based on what side of the trade you are on.
Mike Hunt : Hopefully when the company does what it’s always done which is have an earnings beat and the stock explodes up you can once and for all give up your idiocy.
