A small talk on inflation investing

Hello Mooers, welcome back!

In today small talk, we will be discussing about how to invest with rising inflation and protecting our portfolio in $Futu Holdings Ltd(FUTU.US)$ MooMoo platform.

Just a few days ago, the US Labor department reported that the CPI (consumer price index) for all items have rose another 0.6% in January 2022. This drive up the annual inflation from 7% in December 2021 to 7.5% in January 2022, hitting a nearly 40-year high, since February 1982.

Also, last Friday, 11 Feb 2022, we saw stock market plunging with only a few stock concepts in the green, as shown in the Market Overview and Heatmap below.

Thus, in order to protect our portfolio from the ‘fly-to-the-moon’ Inflation, precarious Ukraine crisis and the everlasting supply chain disruption, we can trade oil-related stocks and gold-related stocks, which I have collated all of them here.
