No interest rate hikes? I didn't see that the conference agenda clearly stated that it was a review and determine interest rate. Will the Federal Reserve have enough support and hold an emergency meeting? I had to wait until the March 16th meeting

It could be a lot of things and everyone is just guessing, just like me. It could be just to discuss advance and discount rates. Maybe they’re getting it together and finally going to start acting on this inflation? Maybe. Or maybe they’re going to raise the rates earlier than March and actually show some proactive, competent leadership? Yeah, no that ship has already sailed and reached its destination, Happy Island. Or it could be that they realize that they don’t have anymore money to buy ink, paper and press parts to print anymore money? That could be true if the American people didn’t work so hard to make sure that didn’t happen buy paying all the taxes and fees we do. Or, it could be because they need to raise the rate quick, fast and in a hurry because the United States is about to borrow a lot of money for a major military deployment and a large military aid package to Ukraine. Biden wants to do something that will make his presidency remarkable, I mean in a good way. So what if it tanks the economy further and costs American and Ukrainian lives. Now see that’s something Joe could hang his hat on. The evil that men do.

Don’t be panic. Fed has this meeting held monthly. Go check the record. Meetings discussing the same topic were held on Jan 18, Dec 6, and Nov 15…Why this time any different?

In February there's no Fed meeting scheduled, this is emergency meeting called by board members. The scheduled meeting should be in March
