SQJZ reversal indicator
$Amazon(AMZN.US$ One of the great technical indicators that this platform @Investing with moomoo @Moomoo Courses @Team moomoo offers that others don’t it’s called the SQJZ 1-9 reversal indicator. when certain conditions are met it triggers the sequence to start from 1 to 9 over the selected time period. it was spot on for the weekly chart. It doesn’t occur all the time and in fact the last time it was triggered on the weekly chart of Amazon was in the middle of 2020.

Robin Hood and WeBull and SOFI do not have this reversal indicator. It’s actually based on what’s called the Demarker indicator. Demark is the last name of the guy who created it
70143329 : Thanks Mike. I just added the indicator to my moomoo chart but not sure how exactly using it. When it counts to 9 the trend / price action will be reverved if I understand it correctly? on Amazon chart it is visible only with the weekly time frame but it is almost in every time frame with GOOGL ...

Rogue Trader 7 70143329: Those look like SAR dots... it is a lagging indicator.. it means stop and reverse.. can show when the action of a stock changes
Mike HuntOP 70143329: Those are called Parabolic SAR. SAR stand for STOP AND REVERSE.
Mike HuntOP Rogue Trader 7: I like it as a momentum indicator. Because it takes a couple few time periods for a candle to hit it and flip it, it helps prevent jumping in too early and getting faked out where there isn’t a reverse, just a pause followed by a resumption in that same direction.
