Hard truth
I am a $Meta Platforms(FB.US$ holder, and I must admit things ain’t looking good for this company in the near term (at least the next 12 months). It is evident that their current business in Facebook and Instagram are not really growing / going sideways. It may even dip by the end of the year. Perhaps Mark Zuckerberg saw this coming and decided to pivot to Metaverse / Meta Platforms, so as to increase their total addressable market and future profits.
I’ll average down my position cautiously during this period, note the word cautiously. If you’re doing this as well, please do exercise caution. I could have abandoned ship and cut the losses, but I’ve decided to still average down that’s cause I plan to hold on for more than 5 years. Anyway, this year will be crucial. If the company doesn’t show sign of pivoting to their new metaverse concept or the growth declines further, I will definitely re-consider my option (cut loss) and load up more on $Apple(AAPL.US$ $Microsoft(MSFT.US$ $Alphabet-A(GOOGL.US$ $Tesla(TSLA.US$
Anyway, look out for 240-250 range. If it breaks below 240, things will get ugly i.e. hitting 220 and below. I have also previously mentioned that under the current climate, the market will be very harsh towards companies who didn’t meet expectations. Next up, it could be $Amazon(AMZN.US$ $Snap Inc(SNAP.US$ $Roku Inc(ROKU.US$ $The Trade Desk(TTD.US$ etc.
