My average is 153……
$BABA-SW(09988.HK$ I have seen many discussion about whether to average or not recently. I am more inclined to say no for the reasons as follows:-
1. US interest rate increase … bad for shares in general especially growth stock.
2. Weak sentiment owing to wide media coverage predicting that a deep correction is coming.
3. Tightening of monetary policy after Covid 19.
4. There should be more pain due to margin calls for those who are highly leveraged.
Think before you act. No point catching a falling knife. My average price of Alibaba is 153 and I ain’t jumping into the average Down syndrome. If you do not own any, perhaps you can start planning to built little by little. My personal view. What’s yours?

The Lastone : Very strange trend, every day is to lock the chips of the previous day. It doesn't give you a chance to get out of the trap at all. Either it goes up again, or it goes down a lot. But the slump doesn't make sense.

haroit27 : I still believe in it’s fundamental. Yes you’re right, interest rate hike will weaken the sentiment in general, but don’t forget H-shares valuation was severely depressed by CCP’s action last year.
It’ll possibly fall again, but I don’t think it’s gonna be falling knife that we saw last year. The valuation is already at historic low, not sure how low can it be. 70? Then we will all be fucked one way or other anyways.
