A few weeks ago, nearly every chip manufacturer in the world—from cars and trucks to refrigerators and videogame consoles had been extremely hot. Investors have wanted semiconductor stocks as a result.
For the 2021 year to date, the $PHLX Semiconductor Index(.SOX.US$ , is up 43%, handily outpacing the $Nasdaq Composite Index(.IXIC.US$ 's 23% gain.
Analysts predict chipmakers will report strong growth in fourth-quarter profits amid a global shortage.

Expendabiggles : I buy stock that makes logical sense on paper as to what the future holds. My only non fundamental (risky) play IS AMC (which im ok losing my cash there but is also beside the point) But to see the rest of my portfolio get robbed away doesn’t mean I was wrong. Its means someone is screwing with the system and i’m being lied to and given falsified data which got me to invest in the first place. If I invest in something the research suggests is a good buy and it doesn’t pan out. Is it my fault because big money is screwing everyone over??? This isnt some 2 week hair brained assumption either. I’ve been watching the market for years. There is some shady sh*t being allowed to go on behind the curtain and we all know it.
Upncoming1841 : NVIDIA is a sexy highly profitable company with super bright future prospects beyond metaverse. It is a stock that I would average down on if I have extra cash lying around. It is just a matter of time before it rebound.
