US jobless claims hit 3-month high: Stay home or back to office?
Views 7818 Contents 43

Is this a loaded question? Straight set up, lol jk. Unemployment due to AI overlord taking control. jk (kinda)

Well, we all heard stories through the years about what our future would look like as the computer age continues to take over everything it seems or affect the world around us at the very least.

Yes, Phones had chords at one time, Rewind was a real thing (and you're as old as I am if you didn't need to pause to figure that one out, lol) Latex was unforgivably in fashion along with the Mullet.(Billy Ray Cyrus esque) I bet a few people still have their "fanny packs" tucked away collecting dust somewhere.:) And an even smaller number who still regularly use them to this day. Anyone remember the "tight roll" phase where everyone tight rolled their pant legs.

We've evolved since then and so has technology. Think of this, when i was a child the 80's the secret weapon we talked about them was The Stealth Bomber. 30 years later, not much has been released. Stagnant evolution? I'd bet my life the answer is more like suppressed evolution. And now that the PTB think they have the technology to tighten their grip on humanity and push forward their goals, we're beginning to see some of that technology step out into the spotlight.
so to bring this comment full circle I just want to say the unemployment rate is because of the implementation of web 3.0, blockchain, robotic worker, driverless vehicle, drone delivering, AI thinking, machine learning PARADIGM we're entering. They where right when the main stream media told us, "Nothing will be the same"

With the beat down on society in full swing, I'll watch for stocks involved in these agendas but also now for a few years, have been watching for a spike in water works and purification related companies values. I wonder if they could ever reach the level of impact as say petroleum does on our economy. Anyone have anything interesting to add or detract from my opinion here?

I hope you're all well. I couldn't resist screaming for attention over here in left field ✌️

  • Mcsnacks H Tupack : I remember a time when Google was the kid in school who was always reading and doing science experiments. When if you wanted to know a lot about a place or something or even someone, you had to take a trip there or where  they lived or worked. If you needed to talk to someone in particular at a certain time you had to set up a meeting, or you better know where they hunted, or fished, or worked or lived. Then you had to drive to all those places until you found them. You could go to work or school all day and only focus on work or school then when you got home you would check your messages and then decide if you wanted to call any of them back or if you just wanted to relax in peace and quiet. And when something broke you gave it your best shot at fixing or you broke it worse then went and bought a new one. Wait! What were we talking about again? 😂

  • treydonguiOP Mcsnacks H Tupack: ah, the good ol days. haha. who knows all these advances might lead us back to something reminiscent of the Stone age. because in this modern age one of the most useful weapons will be an EMP or electromagnetic pulse weapon. (I'm sure you're familiar with that). I often wonder if this is a repetitive cycle of technology. if we've gotten to this point before and at some point the system overwhelms itself and all technology renders itself useles.
