Although the movement in the indexes Friday is relatively sedate so far, there is plenty of chaotic trading activity taking place. The sellings that happened into the close on Thursday continued this morning due in part to the very poor reaction to $Netflix(NFLX.US)$'s earnings.
Addtion to the earning reaction, according to Goldman Sachs, there is $1.3 trillion in single-stock options set to expire Friday, which is the second-most ever. That is sure to create some last-minute movement. The market could await some adjustment next week.

$Peloton Interactive(PTON.US)$ shares plunged on reports the company planned to temporarily halt production of some of its products as a result of waning consumer demand.
$Netflix(NFLX.US)$ gross subscriber adds remain "soft" compared with levels seen in the pandemic-fueled climb in the first half of 2020, and the company is poised for declining earnings per share growth, KeyBanc Capital Markets said in a note Friday.
